Chick-Fil-A Rolls Out A New Sunjoy Drink While Testing A Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich

Spring is in full swing, and Chick-fil-A is getting into the spirit by offering new seasonal beverages for a limited time. Beginning on Monday, April 8, Chick-fil-A will release the latest edition of their Sunjoy drink — the fifth, thirst-quenching iteration combining lemonade and sweet tea since 2017.

Previous variations included Watermelon Mint, Cloudberry, White Peach, and Mango Passion, but this year's vibrant Cherry Berry Sunjoy consists of the classic combination of Chick-fil-A Lemonade and fresh-brewed Sweetened Iced Tea mixed with an assortment of berry flavors, including cherry, blueberry, and cranberry. If you want to get your hands on Chick-fil-A's latest vibrant variation of Sunjoy, you'll need to act fast as it's only being offered for a limited time.

In addition to the Sunjoy bev, the chicken chain is releasing three additional drinks that stick with the theme. The first is the Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade — a dessert drink made with Chick-fil-A lemonade and ice cream blended with either cherry, blueberry, or cranberry flavors. The others are the chain's classic lemonade and iced tea with the same berry or cherry add-ins.

But that's not all Chick-fil-A has up its sleeve; the restaurant chain is also planning to test out a new entrée in a select market.

Chick-fil-A is testing a new entrée in select locations

Along with the Cherry Berry seasonal beverages, Chick-fil-A is feeling out chicken fans with its latest conception, the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich (that's CLUB, as in chicken and lettuce under bacon). This features a boneless chicken breast, served on a buttery pretzel bun with soft-seasoned cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, and sliced tomato with a creamy Dijon mustard sauce on the side. The only downside we can see is that the Pretzel Cheddar Club will only be available at certain locations in Raleigh, North Carolina.

If you're passing through the City of Oaks anytime soon, it would definitely be worth making a pit stop at the nearest restaurant to try this latest creation. Those living in Raleigh who want to know where they can pick one up can check the Chick-fil-A app or call their local restaurant to see if the modern take on a chicken sandwich is available for dine-in, pick-up, or (get this!) delivery. The feedback provided during this test rollout will help Chick-fil-A decide whether or not they will begin selling the Pretzel Cheddar Club nationwide.

Get the latest drinks early

On top of all this, Chick-fil-A is providing a unique perk to dedicated Chick-fil-A One Red and Signature Members. On April 5 and 6, members of those loyalty programs will have early access to the restaurant chain's new seasonal beverages through the Chick-fil-A app in select markets. If you are a participant in either of these programs, you can check out Chick-fil-A's fresh new flavors before anyone else. The fifth edition of Chick-fil-A's Sunjoy could sell out any time after April 8, so if you want to get a sip of this refreshing celebration of spring, you should try it out sooner rather than later.

And if you happen to be in Raleigh, NC, after April 8, you will be one of the select lucky few in the U.S. to try out its latest entrée and give them your feedback. You could play a part in making CFA's newest test item available to the rest of the country.
