Method: Baking


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup gluten free, low carb breading mix
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup sugar free ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar replacement
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet yellow onion


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Form meat mixture (ingredients 1-7) into walnut-sized balls and place in baking pan.

Step 3

Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Move meatballs in shallow pan or crock pot.

Step 5

Mix sauce (ingredients 8-12) in bowl. Pour over meatballs.

Step 6

Simmer over medium low heat on the stove for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes; or if using a crock pot, set to low for an hour, and then low until serving, at least 2 hour ahead of time.

Step 7

Keep meatballs covered to retain sauce. Serve warm with toothpicks for easy serving. Makes about 35 meatballs.
