Is Trader Joe's Open On Memorial Day?

You think you have everything you need for a much-anticipated Memorial Day BBQ with friends and family, but as luck would have it, a few items got missed on your last shopping trip. Time is something none of us ever seem to have enough of, and as the big day approaches, you might wonder if you can make a quick trip to the supermarket to fill the empty spaces in your cooler for the start of the summer celebration. But many stores are closed for the holiday, which makes you wonder if you need to find the time to grab your extra goodies before Memorial Day arrives.

If Trader Joe's is your preferred store to patronize for all your grocery needs, then you're in luck. TJ's will operate under their regular hours on Memorial Day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Along with bell-ringing and unique food brands, Trader Joe's is known for holding convenient hours to shop for their customers. Your local Costo and Natural Grocers may be closed, but you can count on TJ's to welcome you with open arms if you need something before firing up the grill.

Trader Joe's is always open on Memorial Day

While many businesses shutter their doors on special occasions, Trader Joe's rarely changes their hours for holidays. Every year, TJ's is fully open all day on Memorial Day. There are only 3 days of the year Trader Joe's shuts down, those being Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. On Easter and Independence Day, they reduce their hours, opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 5 p.m. The rest of the year, Trader Joe's is open seven days a week, 13 hours a day. If you forgot to grab a medley of chips, some peaches and watermelon, or just have to have that Chili Lime Seasoning to sprinkle on both to celebrate the day of remembrance, fortune smiles upon you if Trader Joe's is your go-to grocery haunt.

However, forgetting a few things for your Memorial Day outing is not an experience unique to you. Memorial Day is one of the most popular days of the year to grill, second only to the Fourth of July. Should you plan on stopping by TJ's on Memorial Day, it may be a good idea to think about going early to beat the crowds of shoppers in the same bind.
