The Costco Rotisserie Chicken Wrap Hack That's Worth The Price

When a Foodie feature writer was exploring the best Costco food court hacks, we got inspired with an idea for a fresh, crispy lunch or dinner with the potential to feed multiple people. We seriously adore the warehouse retailer's Rotisserie Chicken Caesar Salad, which, for $6.99 at its current price, comes loaded with Costco's rotisserie chicken (the whole birds of which only have a two-hour shelf life), crunchy croutons, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. Costco fans didn't love the fact that the salad came back to menus in 2023 after a brief hiatus, bearing a price tag that was nearly double its initial $3.99 sticker. Still, they generally don't quarrel with the fact that the salad is a banger. And we feel like this hack makes it even yummier while also extending its use.

Basically, you buy a salad from the food court and any one package of Costco's abundant selection of tortillas and wraps. Simply mix the salad up in its container, and then use a fork to dole out salad into the wraps. How many wraps you can manage to make from one salad depends merely on how stuffed you like them to be. Roll the wraps up, and enjoy your tasty, creamy chicken Caesar salad handheld. We might quibble over the best way to wrap sandwiches, but we can't argue with the filling in this one! Even if the salad is a bit spendier than it used to be, we really feel like these delicious wraps are worth the investment, especially if you dole it out into multiple meals.

The way to make chicken Caesar wraps for a crowd

If you have a large family or want to feed chicken Caesar salad wraps to a few friends, there's a more cost-effective Costco avenue to doing so, but it requires leaving the food court. As seen on social media, simply pick up a whole rotisserie chicken for $4.99 and at least one bag of Caesar salad kit, currently for $5.32 each. How much your tortillas or wraps cost depends on what variety you pick. Skip the urge to buy Costco's grab-and-go chicken Caesar salad from the chilled prepared dinners case, as it's not as good a deal as this method.

Next, take your ingredients home, and assemble the salad in a large bowl. That means your two bags of salad mix, all the toppings, and as much chicken as you can pull off the rotisserie birds. You now have a whopping amount of chicken Caesar salad filling that can make many wraps with minimal prep work.

If you have a little spare time and some basic pantry ingredients, you can really fancy up your Caesar salad before serving. We like to sprinkle in some lemon juice and fresh-cracked pepper to add freshness and acidity to the greens. A little diced crispy bacon will also dramatically enhance your wraps. Feel free to add extra parm as your heart desires, or to augment your store-bought dressing with a little extra Dijon mustard or Worcestershire sauce for an umami pop.
