9 Dollar Tree Must-Haves To Keep Your Kitchen Organized

Dollar Tree is more than just a hotspot of food affordability and knockoff skin care that sometimes take social media by storm — it's also your one-stop shop for tons of items, intended or otherwise, that help keep your kitchen organized and tidy. Everyone dreams of having a drool-worthy kitchen and pantry that are as put-together as something from a #HomeTok reel, but you might have balked at the cost of all those fussy organizing tools influencers use to turn their space into the stuff of internet envy. Dollar Tree may have raised its prices in the recent past, teeing off some long-time shoppers, but even its more costly items still usually come in under $2.

You might be amazed at all the home organization gear that's hiding inside your Dollar Tree, just waiting for you to stock up and beautify your cooking space. If cleanliness is next to godliness, we're pretty sure that neatness is right next to bliss. Hit the 'Tree and see what you find!

Dry food containers

Whether it's pasta, the best Cheerios flavor, or white rice, we love a storage container that allows us to get rid of unslightly, bulky cardboard boxes and look like we have our lives together (regardless of whether that's actually true). For a cool buck-fifty, as of writing, you get two containers: one 54-ounce, and one 114-ounce. Whether you are storing Doritos or dog food, the snap lid containers will keep your dry foods, well, dry ... and look good doing it.

Stackable racks

Everyone knows that the key to maximizing limited space is to utilize height. With these plastic racks, which retail for $5 apiece, you won't be wasting your vertical storage any longer. They stand 15 inches high, but can be stacked upward. We love these for small, fussy pantry items like errant spice jars and small boxes of, say, tea bags or individual coffee creamers. Under your sink, they make a great place to stash hand soap, cleaners, and Swiffer pads.

Dish racks

Sure, you could use these dish racks to hold dishes (duh), but we've seen a really cool hack online: using the rack to hold folded-up dish towels so they are easily-accessible and ready to use when needed! We like Martha Stewart's practical way to store kitchen towels, but this might have it beat, because the rack can sit on your counter, keeping the towels even closer. Spills will be no match for your quick-draw with this storage trick!

Egg containers (with lids!)

What do all those home organization influencers on social media have in common? They all store their eggs in plastic containers instead of the clamshell box they come in from the store. A mere $1.50 gets you the same sleek look, whether you are corraling eggs straight from your own chickens or using this dozen-count container for hard boiled eggs (which don't last that long in the fridge).

Drawer organizers

We previously covered how you could use Dollar Tree shelf liner in your kitchen drawers, but, for organization purposes, these drawer organizers are the truth. For just $1.50 each, they are ideal for wrestling the mass of spatulas, scoopers, whisks, serving spoons, and tongs in your utensil drawer into submission. That junk drawer in your kitchen will be looking so much more useful when you use some of these organizers to make some sense of all the miscellaneous crap you've accumulated. Stick one in every drawer ... two, if you can fit them!

File holders

No, we know that you probably aren't storing documents in your kitchen! These file holders, which sell for $1.25 apiece, are the Dollar Tree item you need to organize all those tall water bottles rolling around your kitchen willy-nilly. Simply lay the holder on its side, and there you go! You can stack a few water bottles atop one another without wasting space. Gone are the days of cursing at your stash of Nalgene bottles as they topple from your pantry.

Napkin holders

At just $1.25 each, you could employ these nifty little napkin holders to actually hold napkins, but we've discovered a hack to declutter Tupperware lids in your kitchen using some of these mounted to your inner cabinet doors. There's no trick: they're just the right size and shape for holding a bunch of lids, which otherwise would make a space-consuming mess in a drawer somewhere. If you to a moment to arrange them by size, finding the correct lid for the Tupperware you just filled will be a piece of cake.

Canning jars

If there's one thing that the kitchen organization corner of social media is inevitably excited to see, it's glass canning jars. At Dollar Tree, they cost $1.50 each, and they'll be a gorgeous, aesthetically-pleasing way to store all sorts of staples that might otherwise go back in plastic bags, like beans, brown sugar (which can be homemade if you know your ratios), corn meal, and oats. Line 'em up in your pantry and you'll smile every time the doors are opened. That's the power of canning jars.

Soda can organizer

Whether you love Cherry Coke or Mello Yello (which was never discontinued, despite rumors), you probably struggle with efficient storage of soda cans. Sure, you could leave them in their boxes, but that's not very pretty ... and "pretty" isn't too much to ask for! At $1.50 each, these clear acrylic bins will hold a ton of your favorite soda cans and keep them ready to grab when you want them.
