Here's How Much It Costs To Dine At Patrick Mahomes' And Travis Kelce's Steakhouse
When we ranked popular steakhouse chains, one clear theme emerged: well-executed steak is less about the price tag and more about attention to detail. Still, the cultural image of a fancy steakhouse calls to mind entrées with big price tags. In that way, 1587 Prime, the Kansas City steakhouse that's a joint venture between Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes (quarterback, #15) and Travis Kelce (tight end, #87), definitely fits the bill. If you remember the elaborate food and drink that was served in the 2025 Super Bowl suites in New Orleans, you may have realized already that the world of the NFL is closely tied to luxury food. After all, professional football players have big appetites and even bigger paychecks ... makes sense that they know a thing or two about good eating, right?
If you dine at 1587 Prime, be prepared to spend and eat like a superstar. Steaks, which are sourced from Midwest farms in Kansas and Idaho, along with Japanese Wagyu and Australian ribeye, range from a $59 petite filet all the way up to a $345 Wagyu tomahawk that weighs in at 40 ounces. Not interested in eating beef? "The Big Red," a smash burger named after KC Chiefs coach Andy Reid, will set you back $38. Alternatively, you could order twin lobster tails for $76 or roasted branzino for $63. Sides are all à la carte and run in the ballpark of $16 apiece. Naturally, you'll want a drink — will you try The Alchemy, which is named for a song that Kelce's fiancée, Taylor Swift, wrote about their relationship? It'll set you back $22, which is about average for the cocktail menu.
1587 Prime has a star-studded aura
Lest you think that Kelce and Mahomes took time from their jam-packed football schedules to hand-select the menu at their new steakhouse, know that they worked together with Noble 33, an award-winning nationwide hospitality group, to develop the concept for the restaurant located in The Loews Hotel. Noble 33's other upscale eateries include Toca Madera (with locations in Houston, Miami, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas) and Sparrow Italia (of London, Miami, and New York City). While Taylor Swift herself could likely be a frequent guest at 1587 Prime, given that she attends most of Kelce's home games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, her favorite food, chicken fingers, is not on the menu. The vibe is strictly luxe at the steakhouse, with two floors, each with its own kitchen, waiters in white blazers, and live music every night. The bar sports a marble top, and the dim interior, which is heavy on wood and gold tones, evokes an old-school, elegant NYC steakhouse. Patrick Mahomes has already brought his wife, Brittany, to visit the restaurant, where the "Queen B" Grey Goose-based cocktail is named in her honor.
Not surprisingly, given the "it factor" behind the restaurant, all reservations up to 60 days out are fully booked at 1587 Prime as of this writing. There has been tremendous hype accompanying the steakhouse's debut, and the soft opening featured tons of celebrity appearances, so we predict ressies will be tough to snag for a while.
