What's The Rarest Stanley Cup Color In The World?

Stanley cups aren't just one of our favorite plastic water bottle alternatives ... they are, for many people, a status item. While the craze for these insulated tumblers has fallen off a bit since its late 2024 peak, Stanley cups of all types remain hot sellers, attracting diehard fans who want to grab up new releases. The winged bear logo, as seen on myriad Stanley cups and bottles, has a cute story behind it, but there's nothing as attractive to a Stanley collector as the various colors that adorn the viral drinkware. Different shades and finishes on Stanley cups have historically inspired FOMO in fans, inspiring them to wait in lines and shell out big bucks on limited-edition drops born of celebrity collabs, holidays, and brand promos.

One rare Stanley might just be the most sought-after of all, ... although, of course, that's an almost impossible metric to nail down. A Starbucks-exclusive 40-ounce Stanley Quencher in brilliant "Tiffany" blue was released only in the Philippines in 2023 and commands jaw-dropping resale prices on the secondary market today. It features a glossy teal finish (as opposed to the matte finish on many standard Quenchers), a pristine white lid, and a clear straw. Prices range from almost $400 all the way up to $650, and that's as of this writing. Spikes in collectables often happen around the winter holidays, so it's possible that this coveted Stanley may be even more pricey if you try to track it down around November or December. We know we need to drink more water, especially in the morning, but at what cost?

If you really want a Tiffany blue Stanley, there are some cheaper alternatives

You're likely not getting your hands on a genuine Starbucks x Stanley blue Quencher unless you have very deep pockets ... and, if you do, more power to you! For the rest of us hoi polloi, however, it's possible to attain an equally pretty Stanley cup for a fraction of the price. You'll never fool an eagle-eyed collector into thinking it's the sought-after OG, but you can definitely "quench" your thirst for a drinking cup in what is, per our humble opinion, the prettiest shade of blue around.

Stanley's current lineup of 40-ounce Quenchers includes a "Splash" colorway that, to our keen eyes, is very teal-tastic. Its lid and straw are a milky white color that perhaps doesn't make as crisp a presentation as the snowy white of the Filipino Stanley, but it's also a fraction of the price at $45. On the resale market, you can scoop up Target's Summer 2023 "Aquamarine" limited-edition Stanley Quencher for around the same price. Stanley fans on social media have called out this particular cup for being close to the Starbucks collab and very gorgeous in its own right.

Of course, there are hundreds of unique Stanley colors and patterns at this point, so there's no need to settle. If you look hard enough, it's likely that you will fall in love with one at a price point you can live with. And, if not, there are tons of Owala, Hydroflask, and Yeti cups to explore, among dozens of others, proving that we are truly living in a golden age of water bottles.
