Bid Farewell To Your Cluttered Kitchen; Walmart Customers Love This Affordable Solution

We previously discussed the clever reason you should add a shoe hanger to your pantry – the pockets collect small items that might otherwise create clutter in your storage. To that same end, we found a most excellent solution online at Walmart that accomplished the same task, only in a more attractive way. The brand LAMU makes a 6 Tier Over the Door Pantry Organizer and Storage Rack that we're pretty sure should be a mandatory purchase for anyone with a jam-packed pantry. As of this writing, it retails for $45.99, and though it is occasionally out of stock at Walmart, you can also find it (often on sale, too!) on Amazon. It's a nifty organizer that makes abundant use of otherwise dead real estate ... your pantry door.

The metal rack hangs from the top of a standard door and has six spacious shelves on which you can line up items that might otherwise get lost in the jumble. One of the benefits of narrow shelves in a pantry is that they make things easy to see, and that's also what we love about this rack. Visibility is high, meaning that even small containers won't get buried.

Customers are big fans of this rack, too. "It looks great and is slightly deeper than expected. It doesn't bounce off the wall or affect how the door hangs. It was easy to put together," one satisfied buyer gushed. "I'm in storage bliss with this pantry organizer," another purchaser raved. "It holds everything I need and saves me time searching for ingredients." Someone else couldn't remember life before buying the organizer: "This pantry organizer is a game changer. It keeps everything within arm's reach and frees up valuable shelf space."

We can think of so many great uses for this organizer rack

We may not all have a walk-in kitchen pantry to organize like Bobby Flay, but this over-the-door solution adds so much potential to a smaller space. Some of the shorter shelves would be perfect for a hanging spice rack. Meanwhile, the tall shelves can round up your collection of water bottles, eliminating their tendency to topple and roll around, or you could store your cooking oils and vinegars so they are only an arm's length away. The racks are only five inches wide, but we feel this still allows ample room for most cans, boxes, bottles, and jars.

As we've mentioned, one of the big selling points with this storage solution is that it's as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. In fact, it's pretty enough that you could hang it on the outside of your pantry door and fully lean into the "functional decoration" aspect with some airtight glass canisters or attractive spice jars with labels. One round with a labelmaker, and you have a Pinterest-ready rack! Alternatively, you can hang it on the inside and use it to marshal order into your hoard of soup cans. The rack can hold 60 pounds, so the sky is pretty much the limit.
