We're veritable fountains of Texas Roadhouse trivia. We know how to make a copycat version of its steak seasoning, and we've outlined the way that one menu item can account for a week's worth of meal prep. Little did you know, however, that the Roadhouse has more surprises up its sleeve than the sawhorse saddle that it brings out when a guest is celebrating a birthday. Sometime around 2025, quietly and without too much hoopla, the restaurant started selling beef jerky to complement its existing retail lineup of Gold Sauce marinade and dipping sauce and Rattlesnake Seasoning shakers, along with the trays of yeast rolls in your grocer's freezer. According to Facebook, the jerky is reportedly manufactured by Stoney Point Snacks, and indeed, Texas Roadhouse jerky is for sale on the Wild West Beef Jerky website (a subsidiary of Stoney Point Premium Snacks).

As of this writing, Texas Roadhouse is selling four flavors of traditional beef jerky: rattlesnake (no actual snakes involved), rib rub, sirloin seasoning, and steak sauce. In addition, there are two types of individually-wrapped beef sticks available: smokey sirloin and steak sauce.

A quick internet search shows that you might be limited in terms of where you can buy this jerky, however. A couple of dedicated online retailers carry it, but brick-and-mortar options seem to be elusive. As of right now, it doesn't appear that Texas Roadhouse is selling these products in stores. That's a real shame, too, because the limited number of internet reviewers who have had the chance to sample the beef jerky have good things to say about it.

A pair of YouTube reviewers really enjoyed the jerky

On the YouTube channel Farm & Home Supply Co., which sells the Texas Roadhouse jerky, two gentlemen from the show "Two Short Guys Eat Stuff and Talk About It" sampled two of the jerky flavors, along with both varieties of meat sticks. The jerky was described as "fibrous," which doesn't initially sound like a good thing, but the flavors were rave-worthy. The rattlesnake jerky in particular was described as having a lingering burn. Special praise was given to the two varieties of meat sticks, which were compared to summer sausages, especially because they were very tender inside the tougher outer casing. The beef sticks definitely put the reviewers in mind of a steak from Texas Roadhouse in terms of seasoning, and, by the end, they were both willing to rank the products as among the best they'd ever tasted.

This shouldn't come as a surprise — it's not for nothing that Texas Roadhouse is currently America's top casual restaurant chain! We're holding out hope that, as good buzz about the beef jerky slowly spreads, Texas Roadhouse and its suppliers will see fit to make these products available in more places. Being able to grab a bag as you're leaving the restaurant would be nice, although we'd definitely welcome it among the jerky selection at our local grocery store, too. When you can't have a juicy Texas Roadhouse steak, being able to gnaw on some beef jerky with seasoning reminiscent of that delicious meal would be a treat, indeed.
