The Best Celebrity Chef Kitchens We Wish We Could Cook In

As foodies, we are pretty obsessed with our favorite celebrity chefs. From tracking down Bobby Flay's favorite chocolate candy bar to poring over the minutiae of Guy Fieri's best cooking tips, we can't get enough content from these famous maestros of the kitchen. We watch their shows on Food Network and swap YouTube clips, we bookmark their magazine articles, and we always turn to their recipes when the goal is cooking to impress. Because celebrity chefs make a living off food, it stands to reason that their own kitchens would be pretty darn impressive. And, from what we've seen, that hunch is definitely correct.
These are the celeb kitchens that we ache to take for a spin. From jaw-dropping appliances to astoundingly spacious countertops, to gorgeous and unique kitchen cabinets that really stand out, some of our beloved culinary household names are going home to cooking spaces that turn us pea-green with envy. Even the ones that are surprisingly more humble than expected feature striking design choices and signature touches that make us want to moodboard a reno pretty much right this second. Since most of us have kitchens that are quite a bit less glamorous — if no less functional for whipping up delicious food! — consider this a vicarious peek into how the other half cooks. If you happen to be in the designing phase of building or redesigning a home kitchen, maybe you can even draw some inspo from the dreamy kitchens on display.
Damaris Phillips
Being a Kentucky gal, we bet Damaris Phillips knows the differences between bourbon and whiskey. We're obsessing hardcore over that open shelf with the pegs between her appliances — she's using it for décor, but we can see stacking it with pretty glass spice bottles for storage that keeps them out of the prep area, but also within easy reach.
Jet Tila
While some folks are installing a trendy old-school kitchen island substitute, we're a sucker for a massive, functional island. Jet Tila stresses that, when he built his Los Angeles kitchen, he wanted it to be a family gathering space first and foremost. We can't help but think that a big island with seating and plenty of prep space perfectly fits the bill for any home chefs with kiddos and pets.
Ree Drummond
Ree Drummond actually films her show, "The Pioneer Woman," at the guest house of her family ranch, but her Oklahoma home kitchen is still ready for its close-up. That rack for hanging pans behind her range is absolutely divine, as is all the natural light she enjoys from nearby windows. And, of course, it wouldn't be the kitchen of a rancher's wife without a really cool cow print!
Bobby Flay
When Bobby Flay custom-built his NYC kitchen, he opted for a wide-open layout perfect for entertaining guests. Wonder if he makes his loved ones his nachos with a secret ingredient? While some chefs focus entirely on function, Flay made no secret that he wanted his space to be beautiful. With shining black subway tile and tall, minimalist wooden cabinets, we think he nailed it.
Kardea Brown
The "Delicious Miss Brown" films content in her South Carolina kitchen, which is filled with useful luxuries. When she's not sharing how to upgrade boxed cornbread in a cast iron skillet, she might just be serving up some pasta cooked effortlessly with help from a pot filler faucet that we file under "splurges that will totally pay for themselves in convenience."
Guy Fieri
Before he sold it in 2024, the capital of Flavortown was in Guy Fieri's Florida kitchen, featuring an aesthetic straight from the Cheesecake Factory that's so open, inviting, and functional that we aren't the least bit mad about it. Guy has plenty of tips for throwing parties, and we bet he excelled at it with his massive gas range and double wall ovens. That's the kitchen of a consummate host!
Ina Garten
Ina Garten remodeled her NYC kitchen during the COVID-19 pandemic and she installed her dream appliance — a shiny black Lacanche stove carrying a cool $15,500 price tag. We know the Barefoot Contessa follows recipes exactly, but we wonder if it's even necessary with a stove that gorgeous. Is it even capable of turning out a bad meal? In our fantasies of owning such a spendy, beautiful stove, we think not.
Anne Burrell
In some ways, Anne Burrell is just another Brooklyn resident dealing with a teeny-tiny loft apartment. Burrell maximizes every nook and cranny, but does it with pizazz and flair. She notes that her cabinet pulls resemble little garlic heads, which is just one whimsical example of the big character packed into this small kitchen. And, like many of us, she lets her cats nap on the counters!
Julia Child
After Julia Child, lover of Costco hot dogs, died, she willed her entire Cambridge, Massachusetts kitchen to the National Museum of American History, where a rebuilt version exists today. Here, you can see the tall counters that Child had custom built to accommodate her 6'3" frame (we love a tall queen!) and drool over her collection of bespoke French copper pots, which she used on some of her latter TV shows.
Anthony Bourdain
When Anthony Bourdain's tragic life ended in 2018, his NYC apartment went on the market and gave the world a peek into his private domain. As with fellow Big Apple denizens, he didn't have a ton of space to work with, but what he did include was a lovely, long counter and a huge fridge ... items that count for a professional chef.
