What's New At Kroger: October 2025 Edition

Choosing a favorite grocery store involves a lot of factors: proximity, selection, freshness, and price, just to name a few. Kroger may not be the cheapest grocery store in the United States, but consider us big fans anyway — the chain consistently does well when it comes to stocking products we want at fair costs. Plus, the Kroger Delivery service ensures that, even in parts of the country without brick-and-mortar supermarkets, we can get our mitts on its great deals with digital and even paper coupons.

As October kicks off, we can barely contain our excitement at seeing all the seasonal items hitting shelves at retailers, and Kroger is no exception. The grocer is really showing out for autumn, with a bounty of yummy goodies that will help us get into the fall spirit and equip our pantries for spooky season, pumpkin spice mania, harvest get-togethers, and every other delicious occasion coming our way. The following items are all new and hot for October, so scope them out and scoop 'em up while they're available!

Departed celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain had some very harsh words for the public's love of pumpkin spice everything, but we're obviously guilty of being ultra-basic because we can't get enough of the stuff. Pumpkin spice cream cheese is an especially tempting item that you can dress up savory or sweet. Whether you slather it on a whole wheat bagel or use it as the base of a festive cheesecake, we can bet you'll wanna take it home. As of this writing, it sells for $4.79. 

Less ubiquitous than pumpkin spice, but no less autumnal, brown butter (which isn't the same as melted butter!) is one of our fall favorites. Does anything sing the song of October quite like biting into a warm brown butter chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven? Coffee Mate is bringing all those wonderful toasty, nutty flavors to your morning cuppa with this creamer, which debuts at Kroger this month for $4.99. The 32-ounce bottle comes with a generous 63 servings to power you through tons of morning commutes. 

In our humble opinion, there's never a wrong time for a donut ... and that goes double for a pumpkin donut. Kroger's outstanding bakery has done it again with these cake donuts (not to be confused with an old-fashioned donut). You get six in a box for $3.19, and an implied challenge to try your best not to devour them all within 24 hours. Whether you dunk them in your coffee or grab one after work or school for a wind-down with a good book, the warming spices and sweetness will brighten your day. 

Panera soups are not made fresh, per employees on social media, meaning that the refrigerated ones you buy at the grocer are practically the same as the ones the chain serves in its cafés, just warmed up. Kroger is currently selling a big enough container of Panera's beloved seasonal autumn squash soup for $12.49 that you can serve this to the whole family. Not only is it a deal compared to buying soup at Panera itself, but it's a delicious (gluten-free!) taste of October's bounty. Just heat and enjoy. 

If there's one thing we're gonna do in October, it's watch football on TV, whether it's college or professional. Pizza is practically a game day requirement, so we're a little obsessed with this new offering at Kroger. You've heard of Brooklyn pizza and you've heard of Chicago tavern-style pizza, but have you heard of a pie with a Cheez-It cracker crust? For just $6.99, this novel frozen pizza is begging you to give it a try as you tally fantasy football points. We'd serve it with Cheez-It crackers on the side, because we're really that extra.

Look, we told you we had a pumpkin spice problem. We adore pumpkin spice in our coffee, but putting the essence of fall in a cup of cocoa? The world is not ready! Or, maybe it is. The best thing about these cocoa pods — other than the cinnamon-clove-ginger of it all, which are some of the seasonings that make up pumpkin spice — is that we can pop them into our Keurig coffee maker and have piping hot cocoa in a matter of minutes. Kroger is selling a 10-pack for $12.49, and you'd best believe we're stocking up. 

Fall is onion season. We always enjoy the sharp savor of this allium, but it's extra-special in autumn. This Alouette spreadable cheese is ridiculously versatile at this time of year. Sure, we can (and do!) eat it on crackers, but it's also a shortcut to the French onion mashed potatoes on your Thanksgiving table. Of course, if you want your stash to last until November, you'd better buy a bunch ... in our experience, these pucks of soft cheese tend to disappear quickly. Kroger is selling them for $6.29.
