We do love a stacked fridge, and swinging by our local Dollar Tree can help keep it that way. Sure, we'll fill our carts with plenty of everyday groceries before heading to the freezer section to stock up on goodies, but the refrigerated aisle can be a treasure trove as well. Dollar Tree stocks many fridge essentials that are good quality and won't empty your pocketbook.

Although the range of refrigerated products isn't as broad as its grocery or frozen offerings, we think it's still worth a look. We've put together the pick of the bunch, from great value dairy products to delicious snacks that will tide even the hungriest human over until lunch. Because they're refrigerated, they're all in-store purchases only, and prices and availability were correct at the time of writing. It's worth asking staff at your nearest Dollar Tree if you like the look of something specific.

Hillandale Farms Cage Free Large White Eggs

Who would have thought that the humble egg would almost become a luxury food? Happily we can poach, scramble, fry, and boil eggs to your heart's content, thanks to Dollar Tree, where a dozen of them — from cage-free hens, no less — won't break the bank. They're white as snow, labeled Grade A, and the carton will tell you exactly how old they are.

Jamestown Brand Sliced Hardwood Smoked Bacon

If you like your bacon sliced on the thicker side with plenty of oopmh in the taste department, then grab this packet if you see it in store. One satisfied shopper loved the smoked applewood flavor and how nicely this bacon crisped up. The packaging warns of "irregular slices" but really, who cares? They all taste delicious when we're chowing down!

Señor Rico Tapioca Pudding

There are several Señor Rico desserts sitting pretty in Dollar Tree's refrigerators, but our heads were turned by this silky, sweet pudding which has a whiff of an old-school dessert from the '80s. It's made with whole and skim milk, and is a delicious end to a lunchtime meal, a tasty mid-afternoon snack, or an indulgent suppertime treat. Lots of DT shoppers love this pudding, which means they're gone almost as soon as they appear in fridges.

Shamrock Farms Ultra-Pasteurized Whole Milk

If you're a little older and want to fill your fridge with essential foods, picking up a quart of milk from Dollar Tree is a good start. A quart of ultra-pasteurized whole milk from Shamrock Farms will keep for around three times longer than its merely pasteurized cousin, while still providing all the health benefits, culinary flexibility, and delicious taste. You can also buy strawberry and chocolate flavored milks from the same dairy too.

Hillshire Snacking Genoa Salami Deli Lunch Meat and White Cheddar Cheese

Dollar Tree is brilliant for must-buy snacks of all kinds in the grocery aisles, but hot-foot it to the refrigerators to get your hands on this mouthwatering pack. It takes the usual ham, cheese, and cracker combo to a whole new level. It contains slices of toasted bread, creamy, tangy white cheddar, and salty, savory Genoa salami. That's an activity food we can get behind (though we might not share!).

Reddi Wip Original Whipped Topping

Millions of us grew up slurping Redi Whip, so it's lovely to see it in Dollar Tree's fridges. You can cover everything from fresh berries and a scoop (or three) of ice cream, to a generous slice of Dutch apple pie with this thick, rich topping that's made from real cream. Yes, it does contain corn syrup but as an occasional treat, it's always our go-to.

John Morrell Smoked Sausage

You won't find soy, fish, wheat, egg, nuts, or milk in these deeply flavorsome sausages, made from a blend of chicken, beef, and pork. They make a warm and tasty breakfast (we'd happily pair them with "marry-me" scrambled eggs), or you can slip them into a hot dog bun for a speedy lunch. DT regulars love the price point, as well as the ease of cooking, as these smoked sausages don't need extra fat in the pan.
