The Hottest New Publix Items That Have Come Out In 2026

What, exactly, is the best part of shopping at Publix? We'd argue that trolling the store for new finds is actually the finest part of the Publix experience, and that's really saying something. So far, in 2026, we've been tickled by brand new items and returning favorites alike. These items add some novelty to our shopping lists and help us discover fresh "must haves."

Keep in mind that availability will vary on these items by location, and also due to the fact that some of them were seasonal finds that you can't get at the moment. Not every item is available at every Publix location. If you happened to miss something special, don't be discouraged! You might just see it again in the future. We're always keeping our eyes peeled for new Publix finds, so watch this space for reports of upcoming bangers.

Publix Southern Style Brisket Sub

In Spring 2026, Publix took us to the smokehouse with a lineup of new brisket deli sandwiches. Whether you cook brisket in the oven or slow cooker, it's a lengthy process. That's why we were so excited to see these three custom-made sammies at Publix: a Deli Spicy Brisket Sub; a Deli Brisket, Lettuce and Tomato Sub; and a Southern Style Brisket Sub with sweet and spicy BBQ sauce along with french fried onions. Suffice it to say, our taste buds are in a frenzy.

Creamy Dill Pickle Kettle Chips

We imagine that these dill pickle chips are a spin on sour cream and onion, only with an herbaceous zing from the dill. We haven't met many potato chips that we wouldn't finish a bag of, but these look like an especial treat for the many pickle lovers out there. Plus, being kettle chips, they have that extra crunch that we just love.

Berry Fusion Cheesecake

Publix's bakery always delivers the goods, and this berry delightful cheesecake is no exception. The supermarket's cheesecake is consistently silky and smooth, and we're excited to try it with a berry topping. Grab a two-pack of slices to share with a loved one ... or eat them both yourself ... maybe with a scoop of Publix's delish vanilla ice cream? We won't tell!

Pineapple Bacon Sausage

The Hawaiian barbecue plate meal is a global sensation, but we love the aloha in these returning favorite pineapple bacon sausages. The combo of sweet and smoky is one that gets us every single time, and we think pineapple and bacon are an underrated combo that would shine in a sausage. Of course, you need some heat in the equation, so we'd make sure to serve the links with some pickled jalapeños as well.

Honey Flavored Chamomile Ginger Herbal Tea

Here in the South where Publix reigns supreme, we love us some iced tea. This herbal variety sounds like it provides a soothing, sweet herbal mellowness without the caffeine of black iced tea. The flavored ice teas in the Publix deli are always something special, but we love the pairing of honey and ginger in a cuppa.

Chicken Parmigiana Dip

We recently covered a tip for cooking chicken parm in the air fryer, but we were intrigued as heck to see chicken parmigiana envisioned in a dip. Would we spread it on garlic bread, eat it with sourdough crackers, or stir it into pasta? The possibilities seem endless ... and very delicious. Making special dips for parties can be laborious and unrewarding, but grabbing a few of these and heating them up is almost effortless. We predict guests will love this spread as much as you probably will.

Hula Hula Macadamia Ice Cream

One Publix brand spicy ice cream got mixed reviews from shoppers, but we bet that the returning Hula Hula Macadamia will be a lot more universally beloved. The ice cream itself is whipped cream flavored, and it features caramel swirl and chunks of macadamia brittle. It's basically the perfect ingredient for an unforgettable banana split, especially with a fluffy head of whipped cream and some crushed nuts on the top! Nutty, sweet, and a little tropical, it checks all our boxes.

Decadent Cookies

No, you can't buy Crumbl cookies at the grocery store, but Publix is doing its part to make sure you don't want to. This year, it started offering "decadent cookies," which are large and doughy in the fashion of your favorite standalone pink bakery. They come in two-packs and four-packs, and there are four scrumptious flavors to choose from, including Chocolate Cookies & Cream with Double Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Cookies & Cream with Cookies & Cream Mousse, Raspberry Cream Cheese, and Confetti Cream Cheese.

Mardi Gras Rotisserie Chicken

You know that there's nothing like leaving a Publix with a delicious rotisserie chicken in your hands that's ready for dinner. What gives a chicken "Mardi Gras" flavor? As best we can tell, it's select herbs and spices, plus a lot of garlic. Whether you carve the chicken up and eat it as-is or use it in a recipe, we bet that you'll appreciate the succulence and tenderness that always characterizes Publix roasted chicken.

Boar's Head French Onion London Broil Sub

You didn't think we'd stop at just one PubSub on this list, did you? This one is another returning favorite, a London Broil roast beef sub. Draped in Swiss cheese and French onion mayo, it's exactly what the Publix gods intended: unctuous, gooey, and dripping in delightful toppings. We might just double-fist these; one for lunch and another one for dinner.
