June 2026: Hot Walmart Groceries You Won't Want To Miss

We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

The great thing about Walmart (besides the excellent prices) is the fact that it's generally a one-stop shop. From some of the best bakery items we've found to garden needs like a mobile planter that saves space, the big blue warehouse has just everything we need for the home. Being foodies, however, we're particularly interested in Walmart's expansive grocery section. We sure do love it when we uncover new finds to add to our carts, which happens pretty regularly. Walmart is constantly updating its shelves with new items, whether those are private-label offerings or fresh products from major manufacturers. We can be pretty confident that, when we bring our shopping list to Walmart, all the boxes will get checked ... and we'll discover some exciting new items that are bound to become favorites.

The turn of the calendar to June brings with it the start of summer. Quite a few families will see their kiddos released on summer vacation, meaning that many more snacks are needed to fill rumbly young tummies. Meanwhile, the upcoming summer holidays cue us to fire up the grill and keep our eyes peeled for barbecue must-haves. Walmart's latest groceries have plenty of exciting developments in both categories, along with some energy drinks and a cake mix that we're just dying to try out. Keep in mind that pricing is subject to change and that availability may vary based on location.

Red Bull Energy Drink Variety Pack

They didn't land on the list of energy drinks with the most caffeine, but Red Bull wins points from us for having a constantly updating stable of exciting flavors. This new variety comes in peach, vanilla-berry, and wild berry flavors to help ensure you stay cool and energized all summer long. As an additional selling point, the pastel-hued cans are gonna look great in your fridge when you open it to grab one.

Purchase the 12-count Red Bull Energy Drink Variety Pack for $21.98.

Great Value 100% Pure Beef Square Burgers

Most burgers are round, but cheese slices are square ... which seems like a real design error to us. This sack of a dozen square 75/25 patties is perfect for your 4th of July cookout, whether you decide to throw 'em over the flames or smoke your burgers for extra flavor. With some high-quality buns and a full array of toppings, there will be no need to worry over the fact that you didn't make the patties yourself.

Purchase a 12-count bag of Great Value 100% Pure Beef Square Burgers for $14.38.

Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Blackberry Spread Sandwiches

We love peanut butter sandwich ideas that aren't traditional, and blackberry spread certainly fits the bill when it comes to pleasant departures from the norm. These limited-edition Uncrustables are as tasty to tots as they are to hungry adults who need a quick pick-me-up. Store 'em in the fridge so that they're always ready to go, no defrosting needed. A couple of these with a bag of potato chips is a shortcut to a tasty lunch.

Purchase a four-pack of Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Blackberry Spread Sandwiches for $3.97.

Grill Mates Garlic Butter Seasoning

We love grilling everything from ears of fresh corn to hard-boiled eggs (yes, seriously), to say nothing of all our favorite proteins. If you need one seasoning to rule them all, this garlic butter sprinkle might be just the thing. There are few griller items that garlic butter can't instantly improve, whether we're talking veggies, steaks, or even fruit. We predict this versatile condiment is about to become our seasonal MVP.

Purchase Grill Mates Garlic Butter Seasoning for $3.77.

Tyson Foods Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets Celebrating USA

As the United States prepares to celebrate its semiquincentennial anniversary, we've seen a marketing blitz of patriotic offerings at every end of the retail spectrum. Star-shaped chicken nuggets probably don't taste any different from the normal conglomerations of processed poultry, but we're still excited about the possibilities — and we bet kids will love them. We previously questioned who invented the chicken nugget, but Tyson might just have invented the first all-American nuggie, at least for the 250th anniversary.

Purchase Tyson Foods Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets Celebrating USA for $6.77.

Great Value Deluxe Moist Yellow Cake Mix

A worthy cake mix offers delicious sponge with an added convenience factor — that means no fiddling with dry ingredients to get the right ratios. Plus, there are a ton of alternative uses for boxed cake mix, so we love a good contender. Yellow cake is a versatile fave and something that many of us turn to often. Early reviews of this mix from Walmart's in-house Great Value brand are very promising and seem to indicate moist, tender cake available for a rock-bottom price. Color us interested!

Purchase Great Value Deluxe Moist Yellow Cake Mix for $1.12 per box.

Crispers Dill Pickle Flavor Baked Snacks

No need to ask how long pickles last in the fridge when we're around — we can't get enough of the briny, crunchy snack. Therefore, you can imagine our excitement when we got wind of Crispers, a baked snack cracker now available at Walmart in a few yummy flavors. Dill pickle crackers promise to become a snacky mainstay in our pantries ... the hard part might just be putting the bag down.

Purchase Crispers Dill Pickle Flavor Baked Snacks for $2.64 per bag.

Great Value Fudge Tracks Ice Cream

We've discussed where Walmart sources its Great Value ice cream, and we're quite often pleasantly surprised at the quality we get for the price we pay there. On sweltering summer nights when only a drippy cone of delicious ice cream will do, we might just reach for this new Fudge Tracks flavor, which features a luscious-sounding mélange of chocolate, peanut butter, and fudge. As self-professed chocoholics, we are definitely paying attention to this one.

Purchase Great Value Fudge Tracks Ice Cream for $3.87 per carton.

bettergoods Farmhouse Style Shredded Cheddar, Gouda, and Gruyere

A delicious, price-conscious bag of shredded cheese is a "gotta have it" item in our fridges, whether we're nibbling on some with grapes and almonds, shredding it for amazing mac, or piling it high on grilled cheese that we're cooking on the actual grill for the best flavor and crunch. Gouda and gruyere aren't always cheeses that you see in the dairy section, so we're excited to find out that Walmart is delivering the goods by way of its premium bettergoods label.

Purchase bettergoods Farmhouse Style Shredded Cheddar, Gouda, and Gruyere for $2.67.

Johnsonville Brats Dr Pepper Pork Sausage Links

In the interest of full disclosure, it seems like these sausages are a "love it or hate it" kind of thing, with one-star ratings as well as a greater number of five-star ones on its Walmart product page. Yet, if you like Dr Pepper already, you might just be bowled over by the unlikely pairing of pork sausage flavored with the essence of this cola. On our list of expert tips for a better barbecue, we never thought to add "pick up Dr Pepper brats," but maybe that's on us for short-sightedness.

Purchase five-count Johnsonville Brats Dr Pepper Pork Sausage Links for $4.46.
