One short month after we brought you the best Publix finds of August 2026, the onset of fall has brought with it a wave of pumpkin delights to the Southeast United States' favorite grocery store. While you're sipping your favorite cinnamon-kissed latte and wondering what seasonings make up pumpkin spice blend in the first place, Publix has unveiled a veritable onslaught of gourd-alicious bakery treats. Given that baked goods are a major highlight of shopping at Publix, this is some seriously exciting news. But pumpkin desserts, while major, aren't the limit of new items you'll find on the shelves this September.

Scrumptious ready-to-eat meals join pre-marinated chicken cuts in the fight against weeknight dinnertime ennui, while a tiny crab cake just became our current Sunday afternoon big game obsession. As is always the case, pricing is subject to change based on location and any current promotions. Availability may vary based on store, so always check with your local grocer before heading out for something particular. Keep in mind the best days to shop at Publix, too, as we find that the days you visit really do make a difference.

Pumpkin Cake Pops

The origins of cake pops prove that these treats are barely old enough to vote, but they've quickly become a dessert beloved of kids and grown-ups alike. We're keen to try these festive pumpkin spice pops that are encased in white chocolate. They sound like they'd pair perfectly with a PSL, at a price that beats the pants off one pop from the Starbucks drive-thru. The multi-pack ensures that everyone in your car gets a delightful bite for the drive home from your grocery run.

Grab a four-pack of Pumpkin Cake Pops for $7.75.

Citrus Herb Mediterranean-Inspired Chicken Breast Cutlets

Quick dinners abound at Publix, including deli soups that are better than Panera's. When you want something just a smidge heartier and have a little more time to heat up an oven, we love the idea of these ready-to-cook chicken breast cutlets, which are a versatile option for many dishes. Publix suggests them for shawarma, but you could simply grill 'em up and serve the protein over rice with a bag of frozen veggies.

Purchase a 24-ounce package of Citrus Herb Mediterranean-Inspired Chicken Breast Cutlets for $10.49.

Greenwise Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark

Sure, you can cook your own granola — and even follow Guy Fieri's tip for doing so — but we love the idea of just scooping a snackable box of this granola bark off the shelf during our next Publix shopping trip. Not only does it slake our cravings for everything pumpkin spice, but the blend of fruit and nuts packs nutrition into our nosh. Nom it by the handful or drop some into vanilla yogurt ... sounds like a win-win situation.

Purchase 9.2 ounces of Greenwise Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark for $5.53.

Meal for One Asian Shrimp Stir-Fry with Vegetable Fried Rice

For under $12, you might be able to snag one of the many unhealthy dishes that you should think twice before ordering from a Chinese restaurant ... or you can pick up this ready-to-cook entrée that includes crispy shrimp, real veggies, and a succulent fried rice underneath. A quick 22 minutes in the oven or air fryer, and you're good to go. With fewer than 500 calories, this is practically health food when compared with takeout.

Purchase a 12-ounce Meal for One Asian Shrimp Stir-Fry with Vegetable Fried Rice for $10.99.

Pumpkin Monster Cheesecake Slice

At nearly a half-pound, this chunk of cheesecake lives up to the monster name. We'd argue that you absolutely cannot have autumn without a little pumpkin cheesecake, and Publix is bringing the goods in that arena. The slice is decked out with chocolate drizzle and a dollop of whipped cream, but we wouldn't blame you if you wanted to add cookie crumbles to your store-bought cheesecake, as they really do make a great thing even better.

Purchase a 6.5-ounce Pumpkin Monster Cheesecake Slice for $6.97.

Mini Crab Cakes with Sweet Heat Dipping Sauce

Going into prime fall tailgate season, you can't miss with a mini crab cake. These delightful nuggets combine chunk crab meat with fillers that turn them into something like a seafood meatball ideal for popping during football commercial breaks. The accompanying Sweet Heat dipping sauce sounds like the culinary equivalent of a 90-yard touchdown drive to run up your score in the hosting stakes. Don't forget the best wine pairing for crab cakes while you're at it.

Purchase Mini Crab Cakes with Sweet Heat Dipping Sauce for $9.97.

Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie is practically synonymous with fall celebrations, and you're gonna want a gold star go-to for every party and festive tabletop. We like Martha Stewart's classic pumpkin pie recipe, which features extra additions to the norm, but we also really appreciate the ability to pick up a worthy pie at the supermarket when we're dashing around for everything else we need. Publix's bakery is esteemed, so we bet this pie will do everything you need it to and then some.
